Our History

Raquel Tinker is a dedicated immigration attorney, licensed to practice law in both California and Brazil. She is certified in U.S. immigration law by the Washington Tech Institute and brings a deep personal understanding of the immigrant experience to her work. With offices in Tampa, Florida, and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Raquel proudly serves clients around the world, helping individuals and families turn their immigration dreams into reality.

Raquel was born in Alta Floresta, Mato Grosso, Brazil, a city nestled in the heart of the Amazon forest. She began her academic journey studying Languages and Translation at Universidade Estadual do Mato Grosso, and later earned her law degree (J.D. equivalent) from Ambra University in Orlando, Florida.

Having lived in the United States for over 20 years, Raquel brings a tricultural and trilingual ( English and Portuguese and spanish) perspective that helps her connect deeply with her clients. Her approach to immigration law is personal, compassionate, and strategic—whether she’s guiding a family through the green card process, assisting with visas, or navigating complex immigration challenges.

Raquel Tinker is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and  the American Bar Association (ABA).
