Asylum and Refugee Applications

Temporary Protected Status – TPS
Temporary Protected Status (TPS) provides temporary protection from deportation for citizens of certain countries affected by war, natural disasters, or humanitarian crises.
Who may qualify:
- Citizens of countries designated by the U.S. government.
T visa
The T visa provides protection for victims of human trafficking.
Who may qualify:
- Individuals who are victims of human trafficking and who cooperate with law enforcement when applicable.
U visa
The U visa provides protection for victims of certain crimes that occurred in the United States.
Who may qualify:
- Victims of qualifying crimes who suffered substantial physical or mental abuse and have cooperated with law enforcement authorities.
Parole In Place
Parole in Place provides temporary protection and a possible pathway to adjustment of status for certain family members of U.S. military personnel.
Who may qualify:
- Immediate family members of members of the U.S. Armed Forces.
Advanced Parole
Advance Parole allows temporary international travel for certain individuals with pending immigration applications.
Who may qualify:
- Individuals with eligible pending cases with USCIS who need to travel temporarily outside the United States.
Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals – DACA Renewals
DACA provides temporary protection from deportation and work authorization for certain young immigrants.
Who may qualify:
- Current DACA recipients who are eligible for renewal.
Waivers & Pardons
Immigration waivers and pardons allow individuals to request forgiveness for certain immigration violations or grounds of inadmissibility.
Who may qualify:
- Individuals with certain immigration violations or admissibility barriers who meet the legal eligibility requirements.
